I believe Derschow arrived at Derby on Monday, and C. writes as follows:-

"I presume your reason for suggesting this is in order to give Derschow or someone in London rather more intensive training and experience on the chassis than could otherwise be obtained.

"I should be glad if you would please let me know how long you are suggesting he should stay on the job, because, as a matter of fact, sending him back to you has just coincided with the beginning of the delivery of Bentley cars, and consequently we are hard pushed to find a substitute to give demonstration and instruction.

"I can appreciate, of course, the value this will be, but I would like to have your views so that I shall know what other arrangements to make."

Will you kindly enable me to reply?
