| N. Rollason, Esq. -2- 30.11.37. is bound to give a marked improvement in fuel consumption because the horse-power required to drive the car through the air at 60 m.p.h. is very nearly halved. It is for this reason that we are continuing to take an interest in aero dynamic profiles. We have sold the actual body you saw to a gentleman in France, and I think, from your point of view, it would be very wise to wait until some of the problems have been solved before you think of having one yourself. It is very good of you to consider letting us get the experience at your expense, but I think if you can wait three months we can tell you whether we advise you to have a body on these lines or not; in any case, during the next three months your average speed is likely to be 3 m.p.h. in the fog rather than 100 m.p.h. in the sunlight. Yours sincerely, | ||
