-2- Production test. The machine was found to comply with the specification of test, issued for Phantom I H.O. machines as follows :- Output. 16.6 amperes at 1700 r.p.m. C.C. volts at 840 r.p.m. = 14.0 (Temperature 16.5 - 40.5 - 57) It was considered desirable to have a still slightly higher output, which was obtained by retarding the control brush half a degree, making the C angle 127.5°. Output readings corresponding to this new C angle were Amperes. Speed (r.p.m) 0 850 (Peak) 15.4 1815 10.8 3400 The machine was then sent into the stores for despatch. CAP. | ||
