contd. -2- precautions necessary to burn a fuel which is about equal to a mixture of gasoline with 20% kerosene. By the next mail we shall send you the modifications to the existing float to form the small carburetter to facilitate starting with poor fuel in cold weather. It is assumed that to get reasonable starting, fuel supplied must have at least half of its volum highly volatile. We intend that this small jet shall give a mixture up to about twice the ordinary necessary strength to obtain an explosion, so that it will allow for a mixed fuel of 50% of which may be considered truly volatile.
