DAGENHAM, ESSEX. 28 June 1938 A-1 W A Robotham Esq Messrs Rolls-Royce Limited DERBY Dear Mr Robotham: In reply to your further letter of the 24th instant, we shall be pleased to loan you one of our latest model 'V-8' cars for your tests. We propose that this shall be one of our demonstrator models with the requisite number of miles on the speedometer to ensure it being properly "run in". However, as we are putting new cars into service for the new licensing period commencing July 1st it will probably be about ten days before we can get the car to you.
