Dear Mr. Smith, I have now heard from the Lincoln Zephyr Agents, and, unfortunately, they have no car which they can lend me for the test. Under the circumstances, would it be possible for you to lend me one of the latest Ford V.8's ? This has certain characteristics in common with the Lincoln Zephyr, and would be very useful to me.
