In this connection we would ask you to note that the fitting of the "H" series side steering tube with its extra strong springs was not sufficient to cure the wobble with Palmer tyres, though it was sufficient to cure it with standard tyres. In view of Mr.Royce's opinion that only pivot lean is involved, it is interesting to note that correcting the pivot lean in the second operation made very little diference. We shall be glad to learn from you whether, with the car in the condition it now is ie:- with the side steering tube springs washered up, it may be delivered to the pwner. We do not feel satisfied that we have discovered in this case why a slow speed steering wobble should suddenly develop after a car has been used on similar tyres for nearly three years. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
