Dear Sirs,

X.43425 re Starter Motor for "Goshawk II".

Referring to your letter of the 20th ult., reference ACL/ML re the above, please note you have not yet returned to us blue print of D.50002 - Bearing Bracket, which we sent asking for certain dimensions to be filled in.

Also, in order that we may complete our outline of this motor, and also to check the length of motor against fouling etc., we require an outline drawing from you giving a dimension from the face of the motor carcase at the driving end to overall at the rear end of the motor.

Also we desire to know the clearance necessary for removing the commutator end cover to inspect the brush gear. These dimensions could be filled in on the blue print of "P" Scheme 838 which was sent to you a short time ago. We shall be glad if you will attend to this at your earliest convenience.

Regarding the cable clamp mentioned in your letter we see no reason why we cannot accommodate this.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
