Replying to your telegram of yesterday :-
"CAN YOU CURE WING AND STEERING COLUMN SHAKE BY REMOVING "SPARE WHEEL STOP IF NOT WHY REPORT. - WALLER.

I have checked over the effect of the side mounting of the spare wheel on the movement of the wings, headlamps, and steering column, and find there is little or no difference with the wheel on or off. The only explanation I have is, that the movements were so much more noticeable on this car than previous cars, and that the spare wheel mounting was different, I am afraid I jumped to conclusions.
