Dear Sirs, Referring to our telephone conversation of to-day, we are sending you herewith prints of PD.145, PD.146, PD.149, PD.150, PD.151 which cover the design of our Bentley 50 Radiator, and would like you to ring the writer without fail tomorrow afternoon and give him an estimate of when you can complete the radiator. On scheme PD.146 two alterations are being made - (1) the wing stay pad will be detailed as pencilled on the scheme herewith. (2) The sheet metal pan connecting up the shell, wings and yoke can be made in three pieces as shown, or in one piece if desired. When you have digested these schemes and the details are available the writer will discuss them with you if any points are not clear. Confirming our conversation, you will guarantee us 50 replacement Phantom III oil coolers per week. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. Experimental Dept. P.S. We shall require the Radiator complete with lamp supports, and lamp support tube. | ||
