W/S. X5005 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.7/HP.9.5.34. c.-Wer Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Re Rubber Engine Mounting. Referring to memo Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E.9.5.34, the first car you tried was fitted with temporary schemes LeC.3852 and LeC.3862, but no provision was made for rendering the pedal mounting independent or anchoring the engine endways. We have now issued a rear mounting for the rear unit suitable for permanent reproduction on either 20/25 or Bentley - LeC.3909. A scheme for independent pedal mounting is also issued to LeC.3893 and another for anchoring the engine unit endways, to LeC.3912. We are now engaged in finishing off schemes for modifying the exhaust silencer mounting and the water connections. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
