X4425. Challis. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ro.{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}4/KT. Sept. 15th 1932. Messrs Lodge Plugs Ltd, Rugby. For the attention of Mr. Hopps. Dear Sirs, We have been continuing tests on your A.15, 14 mm, sparking plugs, and have again run into an electrical breakdown. As this is the fourth plug which has failed in this way, we have come to the conclusion that the model must be considered unsatisfactory. We should be glad to discuss any modification you propose to make, and should be pleased if you would replace the plugs of this type that we have purchased from you, with an improved type when such a plug is available. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
