PEREGRINE SPARKING PLUGS X.4425a X.1918 We give below results of voltage measurement tests we have carried out on four different types of 14 mm. plugs. The measurements were taken with the plug cold and in a compression chamber of 120 lbs/sq.in. and 150 lbs/sq.in. Lodge Type HD.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}15. Voltage at 120 lbs/sq.in. pressure - 8050 " " 150 " " " - 10800 Lodge Type X.306. Voltage at 120 lbs/sq.in. pressure - 7900 " " 150 " " " - 10000 K.L.G. Type 734 Voltage at 120 lbs/sq.in. pressure - 8000 " " 150 " " " - 10400 K.L.G. Type L.538 (Single Point) Voltage at 120 lbs/sq.in. pressure - 7300 " " 150 " " " - 9400 These results show that the K.L.G. Type L.538 plug is considerably better than the others, and providing that this type is good for an oiling up point of view, we recommend it in preference to the others.
