dimensions are adhered to.
We admit we were wrong in not cutting the body away to suit the new position of the footboards.
(4/5.) The controls on this car are made to the instructions which were issued at the time these were fitted. We admit that we have received numerous modifications since, but we have not had an opportunity to fit them to this car. As far as we could see, the fault with the accelerator pedal was chiefly due to this car not having stops on the pedal. These have recently been instructed. The trouble came about by the recent alteration to the footboards - the car had not been run previously in this condition.
(6) This car has not been neglected or messed about - this is a very much out of date Goshawk 11. car which has had a number of parts altered and modified which may give it a messy appearance compared with a new car.
(7) We have no satisfactory R-R dynamo at present. 5-C-11 and 6-C-11 cars are also without dynamos. As soon as dynamos are available, they will be fitted. We have had so much experience now on Goshawk-11 with dynamos failing - C.A.V., Smith, Lucas, R-R have all given trouble, that we knew by experience that a fully charged battery is safe for a run such as Goshawk-ll was expected to do when it left here.
