As R.{Sir Henry Royce} is frequently asking me how this or that experiment stands, and what is preventing it being standardised and sold, it would be of great value if you could answer the following questions,

(a) What stage is the experiment in.
(b) Is it going forward for standardisation.
(c) If not, why not, and what are the troubles.

concerning the appended experimental features.

PHANTOM.

(1) Framed instruments.
(2) Dipping head lamps.
(3) Rear wheel and luggage carrier.
(4) Wing stays.
(5) Improved controls on instrument board.
(6) Subframe (we agree this should wait for EAC.7.)
(7) Cast dash.
(8) Revised steerings giving increased body space.
(9) Revised rear luggage carrier to overcome erection difficulties.
(10) Strengthened step-irons and additional one on short chassis
(11) Subframe type side levers.

INDIA.

(12) Chassis with increased dia. cross members.
(13) Subframe.
(14) Cast dash.
(15) Scuttle isolation.
(16) Improved instru: board controls and controls on column.
(17) Strengthened step-irons.
(18) Dipping head lamps.
(19) Subframe type side levers.

We are aware that we have information concerning some of these items, but we have included them so that your reply will form a complete report.
