contd :- -2- The performance of the car is better than the standard Phantom. This is due to the increase in power and to the reduction in weight. The engine smoothness is at least equal to the best Phantom. It is very much better than a number of Phantom cars we have tried. The engine silence is equal to the Phantom. The gearbox silence is very good, but the rear axle needs attention. The appearance of the car is strikingly improved. The first impressions of a new car are as a rule liable to be modified, but in this case we have a car complete with up-to-date coach work, all the accessories, spare wheel carriers, and lamps so that we are in a much better position to get a true impression of the car than with the usual test kit.
