Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} noted [signature]] Phantom III 8" Longer Wheelbase. -------------------------------- It will be recalled that we have been requested to produce a Phantom III with 8" longer wheelbase, and instructions for the modifications required to existing designs will be issued in the course of the next day or two. We send herewith LeC 4963 of the modifications necessary to the exhaust system. The silencer is moved back 8" and the intermediate pipe is lengthened 8", lagging being increased accordingly.
