MODIFIED LUBRICATION HOLES AND GROOVES IN ROAD SPRINGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH "N" SCHEME 2862. (Figs.2 & 5).

Further to our memos' BY/HEB{H. Biraben}9/M.6.2.29. and BY/HEB{H. Biraben}4/M.9.2.29. herewith please receive one Blue Print of each of the following:-

F.80879 Rear Road Spring. 2 off per chassis.
F.80880 Front " 2 " " "
F.80881 Taper Peg. 4 " " "

Kindly produce and fit to Expl: Chassis, noting that these drawings replace:-

F.80496 Rear Road Spring.
F.80467 Front "

which were issued with the above memos' in connection with "N" Scheme 2787.

It will be noticed on drawings F.80879/80 we have only instructed Grooves in the top four plates. We shall be glad to know if this is sufficient to cure squeaking, and if not the minimum number of Plates it is necessary to groove to cure all squeaking.
