Re:- Security Bolts and Bolt Valves.

We attach a copy of a letter we have to-day received from Messrs. Myers & Burnell of York, from which you will see that the tires are continuing to come off Sir Lycett Green's car No. 32-2G.

We enclose also a copy of our reply to Messrs. Myers & Burnell, in order that you may know how the matter stands, and be prepared to keep them informed after you have threshed the matter out with Dunlops.

We are of the opinion here that the matter is very urgent, and we do not think a day should pass before our technical people meet Messrs. Dunlop's, and actually see the various types of security bolts which were specially made by Dunlops for cord tires, and tried with them. We shall be very much surprised if you cannot, perhaps, make some suggestion to Dunlop's, by which they can make a bolt which does not damage the tube, but which will allow the cover to remain on the rim when deflated.

Failing any means of making the beaded edge cord tire satisfactory, will you inform BJ. whether you consider we should allow any owner to have a beaded edge tire in the future?
