I attach hereto for your information, some brief notes in regard to valve spring materials as far as our investigations have gone up to the present time. You will see that we are in touch with Messrs. Fox & Co, Limited, with a view to improving the production of hard drawn piano wire, and we are also discussing with this firm and also with the Swedish people the possibility of producing carbon steel wire heat treated in the coil.
