RE X.3362 LIGHTING INSTALLATION W.W.

We have seen some small cream porcelain switches which we think will be suitable for the distributing switches.
We are not quite clear whether Mr. Royce desired the two large switches on the small board to be replaced by others. One has to bear in mind that these two switches will have to carry about 15 ampres when the dynamo is charging the battery, and therefore must be large enough to accomplish this without any undue heating. Will you, therefore, kindly let me know if it is only the smaller switches that require replacing with some still smaller ones, or if it is the larger ones as well.

Regarding the wooden bases, we will see what can be done.

Regarding the fuse boxes, I take it these are satisfactory.

One point occured to me, that is, that you might like to have a second fuse on the Dynamo Battery Board not in the other pole, but, so that one fuse can be connected in the Dynamo Circuit, and one in the Battery Circuit. As previously arranged the single fuse was intended to be in the Battery Circuit. It seemed scarcely necessary to me that there should be one on the Dynamo Circuit because the possibility of a short on the main feeding wires is so remote, and any short on the flexible will be taken care of by the distributing fuses.

I shall like to know what you think of this.
