Reply to be addressed to John Marston Limited for the attention of CSS/FS. {F. Steele} FROM JOHN MARSTON LIMITED. WOLVERHAMPTON. [STAMP: NATIONAL SCHEME FOR DISABLED MEN] 5th May, 1939. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Swindall. Dear Sirs, The writer endeavoured to speak to Mr. Swindall on the telephone (both yesterday and to-day) about the Engine supporting brackets which bolt on to the Phantom 3 Engine (which we have purchased from you) and drop into the pedestal supports with which you have supplied us. We naturally assumed that these were supplied either as part of the Engine or part of the mounting fitting, but there are no signs of same in the equipment which you have sent us. As we are unable to rig up the Engine until we receive these we should be glad if you would send us a pair as soon as possible. We would also be glad if you could let us have two exhaust pipe flanges and spherical washers to suit the exhaust manifold belonging to this Engine. Will Mr. Swindall please ring the writer as soon as possible and let us know what can be done in these respects as we are at present held up completely. Yours faithfully, C.S. Steadman C.S. STEADMAN.
