Edwards} 8/JH. OUR REF. TWW/HH. Please quote. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited. Experimental Department, DERBY. Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 2nd instant and would inform you that the largest copper brazing furnace we have available will take articles up to a maximum of 11" wide x 5" high by any reasonable length. We believe the size of the units to which you refer is approximately 20" x 18" and naturally this furnace is not suitable, but we do not know whether it would be possible for you to make up a unit in two pieces, say 10" x 9". We believe you understand that it is not possible for us to braze brass radiator cores but the question of making them from cupro-nickel was discussed with your Mr. Stedman and we shall be pleased to assist you further, upon request. Yours faithfully, FOR BIRMINGHAM ELECTRIC FURNACES LIMITED. [Illegible signature] Sales Engineer. ON THE LISTS OF THE ADMIRALTY, WAR OFFICE, ETC., ETC. | ||
