| To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/MJ.10.5.34. CARS FOR EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} & IP. Referring to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E.7.5.34. We suggest that in five or six weeks time we could hand over to you the open Bentley car. The streamlined car we find quite useful as an experimental unit not so much because of the shape of the body but having no wings fixed to the frame we can carry out certain experiments on the front of the car which would take much longer and be much more expensive on any other type. The open car makes all our problems too easy. By the time we release the open car we ought to have the new chassis we are building nearly complete. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
