To By/NS.{Norman Scott} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. + 6003 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.22/MH.{M. Huckerby}29.9.37. Will you please give us schemes for the water temp. thermometer bulb fixed into the front water outlet on Wraith, Bentley and Ph.III engines. We want this, particularly on Wraith, because of the temperature differences which always exist between the water at the back of the cylinder head and that at the port outlet at top tank. On Wraith the instrument board thermometer reads 5°C - 6°C lower than the actual correct top water temperature. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
