X.358/7 To Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GM1.1/MJ.9.12.30. In view of complaints being received in respect of the present 25 HP. starter motor slipping, we wish to issue a Depot Sheet dealing with it. With the increased bore and compression on the 25 HP. a certain amount of slipping takes place with the starter motor. A stronger spring D.51544 is being used replacing D.51376 which gives an approx. 15% more load. It is intended only to fit this spring when a complaint arises.
