Hancock - Head Chateauroux}2/MJ.4.12.30. RE. 25 HP. STARTER MOTOR. We have found a suitable spring which is used on the old type starter motor which gives us a 25% increase load before slipping. The Repair Dept. have some of these springs in stock, we could therefore fit these springs right away. I have taken this matter up with Mr. Davis who understands the position. The present spring used is D.51376 compressed to .650 = 142 lbs. The proposed spring is D.51544 compressed to .650 = 157 lbs. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W.
