New design for Bentley connecting rods to prevent breakages by avoiding sharp corners and increasing metal.

Referring to the above in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.19/KW. 3.1.36, we have now made a design of the rod avoiding sharp corners at the highly stressed points under the bolt heads and nuts, also we have slightly increased the section of metal at the lugs. The banjo of the rod is bigger which means that the oil gallery pipe must be bent a further amount to maintain sufficient clearance with the rod.
