6th November, 1940.

Messrs. Twining Ltd.,
Pike Lane,
NORTHAMPTON.

Attention of Mr. Clifton.

Dear Sir,

Confirming your visit to our Works yesterday with reference to the model car you are making for us, it was arranged that you should now push on with the work as quickly as possible on the blue prints which we handed to you.

The further sections of the body which you require, we hope to send you in a few days.

It was arranged that you would make the front part of the car detachable, the joints being made through the screen pillar, round the front door opening and through the sill, as we shall probably ask you, at a later date, to make another front end, which can be fitted to the rear part of the body you are making.

It was agreed that the interior of the body should be finished in dull black, with the exception of the window openings, which would be finished in polished wood and, if it was thought desirable at a later date, the dull black finish could be replaced by upholstery.

A steering column and wheel are to be fitted and a facier and instrument board is to be provided for on the lines discussed with you, a blue print of which will be sent you.

It was understood that you would let us have your estimate for the last two items.

Should you require any information from us, we should like you to give us a day or two's notice before it is actually required, so as to avoid delay in completing the model.

Yours faithfully,
