DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M20.6.31. XS310. On further investigation of the synchro-mesh gearbox sent to you, we should like to make a slight alteration as indicated on N. sch. 3293. herewith. The object of this is to avoid a number of alterations to the existing servo gear which we see would be brought about by the original scheme. A further object is to drop the centre of the brake cross shaft to its present position. We think the slight alterations shewn here will not cause you any difficulty.
