DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M20.6.31.

XS310.

On further investigation of the synchro-mesh gearbox sent to you, we should like to make a slight alteration as indicated on N. sch. 3293. herewith.

The object of this is to avoid a number of alterations to the existing servo gear which we see would be brought about by the original scheme.

A further object is to drop the centre of the brake cross shaft to its present position.

We think the slight alterations shewn here will not cause you any difficulty. Particulars of the servo will follow in the course of a few days.
