DAILY REPORT.

Paulin Bentley II. - B-27-LE.

Cold air carried to front end of air silencer by flexible metal tube taken from the front and by the side of radiator. Entrance placed at right angles to avoid direct pressure of air as on previous attempt.

Vertical down pipe from exhaust manifold taken through hole in bottom of under cowling, for figure of merit relative to existing cut-out and for effect on oil temperature.

Thermometer placed at louvers of air silencer to record under bonnet temperature.

Weather conditions prevent work on Montlhéry track to-day, (snow, rain, and wind).

Ignition set finally at T.D.C.
