C/O Lord Allendale,
Bywell Hall,
Stocksfield on Tyne.

Apr. 11th 1931.

Sir,

I called on you at Conduit Street on Wednesday last with reference to an inspection of Lord Allendale's Phantom II. Since then I have had to leave the car Near Northampton, and we are here for two or three weeks.

His Lordship has asked me to write and ask you to please collect the car and take it to your place and do two or three necessary adjustments, namely -

Oil leakage. The nearside front shock absorber brackets. (the triangular bracket ▲ also the track rod ends foul the insides of front wheels.

There is a bad drumming noise at about 60 m.p.h. and on the over-run at the same speed. This, I think, is the body builder's job. There is an awful vibration over head at this speed particularly if it is windy.

However, your Inspector will locate it. Hoopers have work to do on the body and his Lordship would be obliged if you will get through your work as soon as possible.

The car is all ready for taking over at Hazelbeech Hill, Northampton. Hazelbeech is 15 miles beyond Northampton from London. The route is Euston to Northampton and on to Lamport Station. I have arranged with Lathbury's Garage, Brixworth to run yo ur man out to Hazelbeech but you will need to wire him the train to meet. His phone is Brixworth 24.

I think there is a good train. Euston soon after 12 arriving Lamport about 3.15 p.m. I spoke to your Mr. ? last Wednesday about adjustments.

Yours sincerely,
E.PICKVANCE.

Full kit a board including Insurance Form and AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson} key.
