AUTHORISATION SHEET NO.3.
-------------------------
The Clutch Trunnion on "V" Series is very noisy.
About 50% of the cars have to be pulled down and it is restricting out-put. We have another design precisely similar to that being used on present 20 HP. chassis.
We want your official consent to incorporating this, with the object of preventing a hold-up on output.
The new scheme is 100% efficient from the noise point of view, and has proved satisfactory on the 20 HP. chassis.
[Handwritten note:] When so agreed it is necessary
