Stream-Line Filters Limited,
Hele-Shaw Works,
LONDON. S.W.8.

(For the attention of the General Manager)

Dear Sirs,

The position is that about 12 months ago we carried out a very comprehensive test of all the by-pass filters which were then available, and finally selected the General as being the most satisfactory article both from an efficient and price point of view.

Before we start up another series of tests, we should be required to be convinced that there is some good technical reason why the article submitted should be superior to the one we are at present using.

Yours faithfully,
For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
