| Handwritten notes (top): This letter refers to the correspondence we have received from Syree & Syree. 2301. complete 2200. This had New Engine. Gear Box and Rear Axle fitted. 2100E. This is complete as far as I am concerned re Mr Ellison re Engine. Handwritten notes (middle): Mr Gilson says 2301 so OK 2200 did not have new Engine CGB or R.Axle fitted. 2100E still requires R.Axle particulars. (Additional handwritten notes in middle section): hath been delivered been fitted to 138E as we have no x-tras Not cannot be done & had been fitted-out to a considerable expense some 1200 titles and it would be impossible to put on the first part of reverse side. Typed text (upside down carbon copy, read as mirrored): believed information to put on the first two copies. As for the subsequent two copies, it would be impossible to put it on if you will kindly fill in the other forms as these cards on I see no other way but to fill in the first two copies manually. Perhaps we could have a 'STOCK' for the rear axle on the last of the series, but we also have to add an 'Ellison' pt no. fitted by plaintiffs certain amounts for 'SOOC' engine. The two previous series to be similar to that of the two previous ones. for large saloon bodies. We require further details. 'STOCK' and SOOC chassis, please be careful.
