RR 238 (180 BKS) (SHST. 29-6-20.) MP 224388 X. 4645 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.Y.B. Date: 20-6-1925 Order No. WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell} 23 Customer's No. X 4645 Standard Battery ignition with additional standard ballast in series. Performance on standard leaky gap. Make Ratio: .5 Supply Volts: 12 The maximum speed of the distributor to allow regular sparking on the annular gap, under the above conditions, was observed to be 600 rpm. As in WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}17, this could only be obtained with the direction of the primary current reversed. With normal polarity regular sparking could not be obtained. Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
