Dear Mr. Griswold,

I came to the conclusion when in America that the Packard was the best conventionally sprung car I had ever tried. This in particular referred to your 8-cylinder largest model.

I got our people over here to try the car and they agreed that it was remarkably good.

I will be very interested to know the spring rates you use on the front and rear of this chassis, and the actual initial deflection at which they run in the normal loaded position; also the shock absorber loading you have.

If at any time you think we might be able to give you information on any point, please let me know as we should like to reciprocate.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
