where visible, through a copper pipe of sufficiently large
diameter to carry the two smaller ones.
The lines cannot be assembled the wrong way round,
because each line is provided with a union of a different
thread, and a slightly different diameter at each end. There-
fore in whichever direction the combined air lines are coupled
up, they must necessarily be attached to the correct points.
We are preparing a small explanatory diagram of our
proposed arrangement, showing the advantages obtained by using
the equalizer bell and equalizer line, which is our standard
industrial and aeroplane gauge practice, as recently patented
by the King-Seeley Corporation.
From a commercial point of view, we would like to
say that we should be prepared to add these features to any
gauges with which we might supply you, without extra cost.
Assuring you at all times of our best attention,
We remain, dear Sirs,
Yours faithfully,
H.M.HOBSON,Ltd.,

Joint Managing Director.
