BENTLEY CHASSIS - WILMOT BUMPERS. -------------------------------- We do not consider it advisable to allow the Wilmot Breedon people to make the studs, nuts etc. for securing the bumpers to the chassis, as we do not believe they are heat treating the material from which the studs are made, and it is no use making the studs in nickel steel unless the material is correctly heat treated. In addition, we learn that they are not providing the lock for the nuts, and in our opinion this is dangerous, therefore we are now proposing to make the parts in our own Works and inform Messrs. Wilmot Breedon to purchase them from us. We are taking the matter up with Messrs. Wilmot Breedon on the above lines. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
