MOTOSCOPE "C" The Motoscope "C" is one of the most practical analysers that has ever been developed, as it performs a great number of tests with accuracy. It was built to meet the demand for a large, impressive looking, low-priced tester, using individual meters grouped on a single panel. These demands are more than fulfilled as the Motoscope "C" also has those features which are only attained when an instrument is built with utmost precision and skill. That is why this remarkable instrument offers you everything you want in a bench type analyser. It has the selector switch system of analysis procedure which was original with Stromberg. This system simplifies analysing and the operation of this instrument. It is built large enough to attract all of the attention possible, which, of course, materially increases its merchandising value. This means that customers' sales resistance will be partially broken down by even the appearance of the instrument and confidence that it will lend. The Motoscope contains a coil tester that is really a remarkable development, as it is based upon an entirely new and different principle that is exclusive with Stromberg. It consists of an accurate cam driven by a dual speed electric motor, actuating three sets of precalibrated breaker points. The cam angles are electrically selected which is another Stromberg feature. Coils are pre-heated to operating temperatures in order to detect defects more thoroughly, this heating is automatically controlled by a time clock. This tester makes it possible to produce conditions that would be encountered if the coil was in actual use on a car. This all results in coil tests that are exceedingly simple and completely free from errors. Manufacturers of Analysers, Electrical Testers, Compression Testers, Vacuum Gauges, Fuel Pump Testers, Timing Lights, Battery Chargers, and Radiator Hydrometers. STROMBERG COIL and CONDENSER ANALYSER The Scientific Method for Testing Coils This new instrument is a combination unit for making coil, condenser, and high tension tests by means of the same methods that are used in higher priced Stromberg instruments. An entirely new and superior principle is used for testing coils, which results in tests that are conclusive and accurate. It is technically correct in both principle and design. An electric motor drives an accurately machined cam at a constant speed producing the same operating conditions which are found at low, medium and high speeds. The cam angles are electrically selected. Since the coil is first heated by means of a time-controlled heater, it is tested under actual operating conditions. Accuracy is also insured by the fact that there are no parts that can become worn or loose and cause errors. It also has the selector switch system of analysis procedure which was original with Stromberg. This system simplifies analysing and the operation of the instrument. These exclusive features make this instrument superior to other methods of testing, since its unvarying accuracy guarantees the detection of actual coil conditions. Condensers are quickly and conclusively tested by this instrument through the use of a circuit containing a neon glow lamp, which indicates their condition by its flashes. This test is very simple in operation as no complicated procedures are necessary. STROMBERG AGAIN INTRODUCES NOTEWORTHY DEVELOPMENTS This instrument operates on alternating current and is contained in a blue crackle finished steel box, measuring 11" x 9" x 9". Furnished complete with all necessary test leads. PRICE £15 0 0 MOTOSCOPE C.V. This set comprises Motoscope C with Mercury Vacameter JV-2 attached. PRICE £55-0-0 | ||
