X535 5/12/11. 4300 re Fiat had trial on 30-40 H.P. 4 Cylinder (110 mm by 150 mm) Limousine body, Axle a bad growler and very objection- able after running some time, did not howl when picking up but very irregular, sounded as though badly geared. Gear Box very good. Gear Ratio 3.06 to 1. (Owner said) Engine vibration very bad after about 30 miles p.h. Engine ran and opened out well. (coach body bad) Carburettor was not automatic. Camwheel had knock when running slow, clutch had usual failure with metal clutch, i.e. slipped for a short time, but grabbed when finally engaging. Mr Platford 25.11.11 with Mr Northey. R.P. | ||
