-2- 8. Original letter from the Money Order Department, General Post Office, London, dated October 14th 1927 with reference to repayment of Savings Certificates. 9. Sun Life Policy No.979,536 in the name of Percival Victor Conrad Halliwell for £833 dated May 1st 1929, with various attachments including photostat copy of proposal dated April 3rd 1929. 10. Letter from Sun Life assurance Company of Canada dated April 9th 1929. 11. Printed table of Guarantee Values. * Buff table of Benefits Dividend notice, undated. 13. Letter from Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada dated April 5th 1929, having reference particularly that the policy has no restrictions once issued. This policy does not say anything about the particular risk under which Mr. Halliwell met his death, but there does not appear to be any provision that he should inform the Company of any additional risk, although the personal declaration would undoubtedly form part of the contract. There is no receipt to be found with regard to the renewal premium due on December 6th 1929, amounting to £17.17. 5, but I understand from Mr. Crompton, the Manager of the National Provincial Bank, Derby, that they paid a cheque on December 11th 1929 payable to the Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, amounting to £17.13. 6. This would appear to be the premium in question. Received the above documents the 17th day of June 1930 A Montacute Solicitor, Derby. | ||
