x3900 FITTING OF THIN LEAF SPRINGS TO AMERICAN CARS.

With further reference to the above and our last memo. on this subject, EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}16/F17.11.20, we note that CJ has now agreed that we shall carry on with this job as per recommendations contained on page (2) of our memo. to him ref. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}11/F7.11.20, copy of which you have.

CJ instructs that we shall telegraph to America accordingly, pointing out to them that the reason for altering our previous instructions as cabled on the 6th. instant is owing to the great expense which has been incurred.

Please arrange to cable accordingly, as agreed at yesterday's conference at the Midland Hotel.
