W/L.H. - H.F.Hamilton. X300~ c: to G.W.H. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}10/JH.1.10.36: Phantom III 35-EX. With regard to your trouble of diving when the brakes are applied, from the information you have given us, it would appear that the swinging arm of the front equalizer has not been correctly set in its mid position with the brakes 'off'. This link should lie parallel to the axis of the car and it can be made to do so by adjusting the brake rods. Please make certain that it is set correctly. Since the car has a tendency to dive to the near side, then it seems probable that the nearside rod to the equalizer requires lengthening, and the offside rod shortening.
