Dear Sirs,

In reply to yours of the 4th inst., EPC.1/AD, we have no objection to your suggesting to Exide that they modify their assembly on the lines of ours. Our arrangement is undoubtedly better, as you say.

We think that if they do modify it, it would be best for you if they adopted our dimensions etc. so that the sections and cell lids are interchangeable.
