600a To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}5/JH.14.1.38. 26.G.VI. We are sending the above car into the fitting shop for the following work :- (1) Complete correct fitting of engine controls. (2) Fit standard gauge 1st expansion box to exhaust system (this is made). (3) Fit clutch lever and pedal lever to SCD.231 and link to EXS.215. (4) Repair broken bijur pipe under radiator. (5) Fit correct rear shock damper brackets. (6) Dismantle front shock dampers and send to W.Bell. (7) Fit damped prop. shaft. (8) Fit correct bonnet. (9) Square up front bumper bar. (10) Exam. operation of change speed lever - difficult to move in 3rd, and top gears - suspect box. (11) Rear Axle - poor - see Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} re new gears and ball race.
