Dear Sirs,
Ref: Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Dn3/HP2d9 21.
With reference to the above letter from you advising the despatch of a Clutch cone, we are today returning same to you covered with our "Halo" Non-metallic Asbestos Lining.
We regret we have held your cone for so long, but we have been very busy in our "Halo" Clutch Ring and Brake Dept. and have not had the opportunity of getting on to the necessary fittings for the winding of cones.
May we ask if you have yet had a report from your Experimental Department in connection with the eight "Halo" Clutch Rings E.P.H.50213 10.5 o.d. 8.4 i.d. x .187 submitted on the 16th August last.
Yours faithfully,

We shall be glad to have your reply
