Performance of RR Cut-out on Chassis System.

A cut-out (No RE.55.X) made up with the latest modifications embodying .150" week, sprung point having rigid backing & the fixed point a rigid support, has been tested on a standard 30 h.p chassis charging system.
The cut-out was set to operate cold at 12.5 volts. then at 11.8 volts it de-operated with 1-1/2 reverse current.
The dynamo was then run at peak output for several hours, whilst the cut-out was covered up to protect it from draughts. After this a test
