RR 238 (150 BKS.) (SH57. 29-6-20.) MP 224358 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To__________________________________________________________________19__ Order No.__________________________________ Customer's No. 2 Of the cut-out showed it to operate at 14.8 volts, and at 12.4 volts to de-operate with a reverse current of .2A. These figures for cutting-in are probably very near to those realised on the Cars. If any change be made, probably a slight reduction of the figures would be preferable as when cold, the battery voltage may be lower than 12.5 when charging commences, owing to the heavy discharge on starting up. When hot the present cut-out operation may be more than 14.8 volts owing to the extra heating due to its being under the engine bonnet. A battery never stands at this figure. Signed S.H.A. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
