re:- VULTURE.
---------

We send herewith Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.103. and 104, being respectively the quarter scale lay-out of the Continental Touring Saloon body and chassis, and the sixteenth scale drawing of the complete car.

On Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.103 we show the positions for the step irons and the body brackets, and also the position of the rubber jointed petrol tank filler which this body demands.

We are attaching to the copies of this letter to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and 2 copies of our letter and specification sent to Messrs. Park Ward & Co.,

It will be seen that we are aiming at completing this body by Christmas and shall use every means available to succeed.

If Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would kindly keep us posted each week with an indication of the progress of the chassis, we should have a means whereby we could determine whether it will be necessary to work overtime on the body, in order to have it ready by the time the chassis is completed. We wish to avoid asking the Coachbuilders to work overtime as much as possible, because it is very costly.

The details of the bonnet radiator and dash, and, also, the position of the side spare wheel, have already been sent to you on Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.108.

You will notice that we are fitting a top scuttle ventilator, and, if possible, the Fisher Patent Non-draught ventilating windows.

We believe that Sales have arranged to have sent to us from America a further three sets of fittings, but we have some doubt as to whether they will be to hand in time for this body.

EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}
